One day trip to Gede-Pangrango Mountain

    

Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Park, designated in 1980, is one of the first five national parks in Indonesia. However, its unique characteristics have made it a natural laboratory for researchers since long before this time. Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Park represents a distinct diversity of ecosystems: a sub-montane ecosystem, a montane ecosystem, a sub-alpine ecosystem, a lake ecosystem, a marshland ecosystem, and a savanna ecosystem. Among these are endangered species like the Javan hawk eagle (Spizaetus bartelsi), and  the owl (Otus angelinae). UNESCO declared Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Park a Biosphere Reserve. in 1977, and it is a Sister Park to Taman Negara Malaysia, under a cooperation signed in 1995 between Indonesia and Malaysia. This Park is surrounded by ancient superstitions and beliefs. Legend has it that the spirits of Eyang Suryakencana and Prabu Siliwangi guard Mt. Gede to keep it from erupting. Even now, at certain times of the year, people flock to the caves around Mt. Gede to meditate or hold ritual ceremonies.

     July, 19th 2012 is really a time for me to refresh my mind from the bored activities in a campus. So, that's why i go to GedePangrango mountain National Park. i go there with six of my friend in my mayor studies. They are Riandy, Miro, Rima, Tami, Rara and Libna. So, actually only me and miro that have an experience for this trip and it was a usual problem if you go to the mountain and there is someone tired and ask to give some relaxing time..haha
     Honestly, there is no changes from this place since i go here there years ago.

     So, you can see that. It's still a place with many trees (haha, must be like that because this is national park). There so many stories about this place for young people. Many people (Actually MAN) go there with his girlfriend and i jst can't understand it if you go to the place that only have a waterfall and many trees like a forest and you go there with your girlfriend. So, what you will do..hahaha
     But... Honestly this is really a recommended place for all people because it has a beautiful view in all places and you will really really enjoyed the waterfall when you arrive at 1625 above sea level (it's a waterfall place,haha). And many people always go here with their companion because it will be bored and like a crazy people if you go there alone. You will be find a blue lake when you cross a track to the waterfall.. and it's really a beautiful lake and so silent lake.. there no sound you can hear in the lake if you stand near the lake.. Like a killing lake that can make you go inside to the lake..hahaha

     After you passed the blue lake you will find a long bride on the swamp. Actually, A several years ago the bridge made from wood but nowadays it changes by a concrete bridge. But.. there is a little parts of this bridge that you can see it made from a wood. Actually, the landscape in this bridge is very very beautiful. You will see the mountain with many trees and a wonderful view in the middle of this mountain. Really really amazing places. :)

    You will be feel say "awesome" when you are arrive in the waterfall because it's really really a cool and cold waterfall (hahaha). But it's really interesting place when you go to the far place and you must make efforts to go there with your tiredness. So, Finally you find a waterfall (a direction) that you purpose it before. haaahh ,, it's like you find a bed after do many activities in a campus..hahaha
     This place has three waterfall but only one that we can use it because two of them is really dangerous to go. So many moss there and you will be slip if you go there. That's why some people only take a picture around that waterfall and didn't swim there. But i think all of this waterfall is very awesome and wonderful. You will feel different when you only see it, but you will be very very happy if you swim there..hahaha 

     AWESOMEE.. one word that can explain anything in this place. :)
     Very beautiful place and wonderful too. But honestly, One thing that i cannot tolerated is many people that go there throw their garbage everywhere. So, you will find many trash when you tracking the way and the trash from the smokers too. Many scratch in a stone and directions. So, that's a bad things from the people that go to the beautiful place but they never be thankful of that places and never think about the impact of the trash that they throw it everywhere. So sad, :( but it's a fact from our people. Maybe the government must be have a sensitive ear to know about that and make a new rules to judge them. :)

haa.. so many stories about this place that i want to write but i think this trip gave me many experience about how to be respectable person to the nature that gives you a breath, food and knowledge that you can't get it in the others country.

Being a destroyer is very easy because you only destroy the things that grow up by itself but being a healer is not easy because you must heal the nature and heal the destroyer from their badness. :)
